Why is A.J. Cook ("JJ") leaving the show "Criminal Minds"?

She was written out in this first episode of the new season. She'll be missed.

    A source close to CBS stressed that the casting changes on Criminal Minds were a creative, not financial decision, and a way to "refresh a veteran drama series."

    ikr I hated that that has happend being that criminal minds is one of my favorite shows and I like watching shamar moore but any wayss they fired her to add a new person to the cast which sucks
