Dodge caravan ignition problem?

I have a 99 caravan, 3.6L engine. Often times the key can be turned to the off position and completely removed but the engine keeps running. Any idea which part needs to be replaced?

    you may have mis typed on the engine because dodge doesn't make a 3.6 in any of the vans,the problem your having will be in the main part of the ignition switch on it,that's what needs replaced on it,good luck
