Why aren't you supposed to wake a dreaming person?
I was told that you aren't supposed to wake a person up while they are dreaming, especially if they are having a nightmare. Is this true and if it is why?

That one is nonsense. You're not suppose to wake someone who is sleep walking. Just guide them back to bed.
