No whenever there is the question of drug use...it's usually over for that driver. I think JM got a raw deal based on that insane stepmother.

The lawsuits are also done unfortunately. He is out of money and has parted ways with his lawyers, his home is for sale. It's sad end to a career for sure. He could have went the Randy LaJoie route ie;quietly take a re-hab course as nascar asked, and not make a big fuss, and he would still be here. I also don't believe he was a chronic user for 7 years or more. He would be dead if that was the case. But it doesn't matter, it's all over now as the others have said.

He was good for the sport at one time.

it relatively is actual obtainable for any minority to win a NASCAR race. in the event that they have a sturdy motor vehicle, and group only like all different racing sequence. each and every specifically circumstances a F1 or Indy driving force will come to NASCAR to grant it a try, yet they're generally only attempting to get a experience for it. so they dont have sturdy kit or group. Montoya isn't the 1st minority in NASCAR the two. Willie T. Ribbs, and Brad Daugherty are 2 off the terrific of my head i will think of of. Brad Daugherty even ownes a collection now, so I dont think of being a minority has something to do with it. they only ought to compete.

NASCAR is adamant about his lifetime suspension and will never let him back in their organization...it would make them look bad.

He may have a shot at open wheel if he follows the example set by Shane Hmiel.

He admitted he had a problem, cleaned up his act, is tested regularly, and has been winning like crazy in USAC Sprints.

I think he has NO chance of winning his lawsuit, but, if by some miracle, he was to win... I still don't think he would have a chance to come back to NASCAR. His name has been dragged through the mud for well over a year now, and I don't think ANY sponsor would want to be associated with him.

    I think he's done.

I've been reading some of his recent allegations. They sure sound like someone that has been, was, and is addicted to meth. I would be surprised if his case makes it to a courtroom.

He will never be back no matter what happens.

All he had to do was take another drug test and pass it at the lab of his choice to clear his name and he refused.

On top of that he was an average driver at best who burned bridges everywhere he worked.

Good Question...I think lawsuits are all done, but if he could come back, I would be glad to see him, minus the drug use of course.

Well they welcomed back Brian France's dope headed kin folks, so they should do the same for Jeremy Mayfield if he goes throught the rehab steps NASCAR has in place.

Mayfield was a joke and a waste of a seat. Many will say Dale Earnhardt Jr is as well but stats and reality don't agree....

To me it is a nonissue by now what he was doing to fail these drug tests. His name is more MUD than it ever was and endless frivolous lawsiuts aren't going to alter that any.

    So. NO.
