How to clear home made plum wine?
Hello all, Can anyone help, I have made Plum Wine, but after 6 weeks it is still fermenting and cloudy,I know I can put wine finings in but the wine at the moment is very cloudy.Help please.

You don't say how many demijohns you have. But say you have 2, steralise two others and syphon off the wine, being careful not to disturb the "mess" on the bottom. Leave to stand another 2 weeks and keep doing it until it clears. You can add a camden tablet to the wine, this helps clear it. An old fashioned method is to add broken, cleaned egg shells. I hope it's ready for Christmas! Be patient with it.

If you put water-glass in it traps the sediment in the bottom of the demijohn the home brew shop will have it
