Don't know about Florida but, I would suggest a trip to the DMV. There you can apply for a lost title replacement. Remember your first trip there is as a fact finding mission, as they will need additional paper work. It's just their way of messing up your day. So your second trip to the DMV will have you smiling and thinking your really gonna get this done but, you wont! Because you didn't bring the police check affidavit of your motorcycle! Get it...it's only about $7.00 to have them come by and record the serial #. Dont forget to have them check to see if it's stolen! Another form...Also if you live in the city limits a city police officer has to do this, if in the country a sherrifs deputy can handle it. Now go ahead and make your third trip to the DMV !

You will be beaming with confidence and thinking you finally put this problem behind you...You won't! Because inevitably there will be one more affidavit you will need filled out that you didn't know about! But don't despair! AS at this time you will get a phone call from your mother telling you she found your title with some paperwork in the mail holder hanging on the kitchen wall next to the fridge...where she was admiring the color crayon picture from your daughter hanging on the front of the fridge!
