My favorite is Rigatoni with Steak Sauce. I've been experimenting with lots of recipes so I can have some impressive dishes for company. This recipe sounds complicated but it's really easy to make and it's easy to adjust the amounts. I usually only make half of amount, I just divide the ingredients in half. I never drink wine but in this recipe it makes it hearty and rich. I made this for my co-workers and they keep saying this could be a recipe for a restaurant. The only thing I changed is the oregano. I'm not that big a fan of oregano so I use Italian Seasoning instead. It is so good.

This is one of My favorites because it is so easy and is good enough to serve at a fancy dinner.
Beef stroganoff
One 2 pound flank steak cut against the grain into 2 inch strips
One envelope Lipton onion soup mix stirred into 2 cups of cold water
One large or 2 small cans of sliced mushrooms
2 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons flour
Cut the flank steak into 3 pieces length wise, then across the grain into thin strips.
Stir fry the beef in butter until browned, add mushrooms and stir until all excess liquid is cooked away. Add onion soup, bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45 min.
Mix flour in 3/4 cup of water, add sour cream, stir well. Stir into beef and mushrooms until hot and thickened. Add a little water if it gets to thick.
Serve with hot cooked noodles or mashed potatoes.
