Wonder Woman is coming back to TV Who would make a good fit?
I heard that they are making a updated remake of the old TV show. Who do you think would make a great fit for the role? I think Angelina Jolie is a good possibility.

Gina Carano. Thai boxer, mixed martial artist, former American Gladiator. Why?
Call it the _Bionic Woman_ factor: the fans just _are not_ going to be along for the ride if some tiny woman gets hired for the role. If Jennifer Love Hewitt were 5' 9" or taller, she'd be perfect for the role, but she's clearly _Not_.
And the truth is, Gina is physically credible, in a _300_ sort of way, as a Hoplite Amazon. All that and somewhat cute too.
That is honestly all you need for the role. Truly. It's not Shakespeare. Lynda Carter was a model before landing the role, and her qualifications were? Exactly. She looked the part and could be charming on-camera. And if the director or producers are that worried, they can hire Gerard Butler to give Gina some crash-course acting lessons. Problem solved.
Trust me on this....people have been going about this all wrong. It's not this huge acting role--it's an action-movie type role.

The show had its moments, but it was also kinda lame sometimes--all she ever did was the twirl, then bounce bullets off the bangles. Wonder Woman is supposed to be a superhero and beat people up too.
