What video wires can carry an HD signal?

I thought you needed HDMI or needed to use the 3 cables Y(green) Pb(blue) Pr(red). I'm looking at getting a tv tuner card that says its HD and can run 1080 but I don't see either one of these connections on it. Does this mean its will only do over the air HD and I can not hook anything HD into it?

Update:

I want to be able to hook my HD cable box into it.

It does do only over the air (ATSC) or unencrypted cable )QAM). It has no HD outputs on it. I do not follow what you are trying to do with your comment >I can not hook anything HD into it<, but you are right. It has no HD inputs to allow (as an example) an HD Directv box to be connected to it.

If your cable box has S-video output, you could connect it, but you just will not have high def any more.

You don't want a tuner card, at least that sort.

If you want to record from the box you have, you need a component capture device, such as a Hauppauge HD-1212.
