air force requirements?

Question

so iam 17 years old, a senior in highschool and iam about to apply for college, but i also would like to join the air force. i plan on going to a college in my community. but i was wondering what degree i would need to atleast be an officer when i do decide to join the AF. basically should i do an associates? bachlors? sorry if this is too vague, but iam still very young and unsure as to the requirements. iam currently doing my own research on the air force..but its crunch time and i would really appreciate some help from people with experience. thank you.

You don't necessarily need a technical degree, but that would definetly help.  You DO need a Bachelor's Degree.  

Have you looked into ROTC programs?  If I had to do it all over again, I would have tried my hand at an engineering degree and received my commission coming right out of college instead of enlisting first and trying to go officer that way.  I do not have a technical degree, and was not picked up for OTS when I applied 5 years ago.

I am only 14 but i have had some ancestry in the armed forces i can already tell you to become an officer you need a bachelors degree and if you want to fly planes i believe you need 20/20 vision uncorrected but i am not 100% sure

to become an officer you would need a bachelors degree but if you get an associates you will join with a higher rank but still enlisted

Firstly you need to talk to a recruiter ASAP. Second you need a Bachelors degree to become an officer.
