How to say "Luke is my friend" in Japanese?

How would I write: "My friend Luke is America."?

Would it be "Watashi no tomodachi no Luke-san wa Americajin desu."

    Yes, you are correct.

    My friend Luke is American.

Watashi no tomodachi no Luke/Rūku(-san) wa Americajin/Amerikajin desu.

    わたしのともだちのるーく(さん)はあめりかじんです。

    私の友達のルーク(さん)はアメリカ人です。

    You can leave out "-san".

    * "-san" is a title of respect added to a name. It can be used with both male and female names, and with either surnames or given names. It can also be attached to the name of occupations and titles.

    P.S. Luke is my friend.

Luke/Rūku(-san) wa watashi no tomodachi desu.

    るーく(さん)はわたしのともだちです。

    ルーク(さん)は私の友達です。
