Girl question... Should I be annoyed with my best friend?
My best friend is like a sister to me, but she always wants attention. Last week she so called "twisted her ankle" and then "fell on it" so she came to school the next week with an Ace bandage on her foot. But ten minutes later, she was dancing around the room. I looked at her, and she pretended that it hurt. And she's always trying to make me look bad and say that I'm doing things wrong. I know she's my best friend, but am I just being intolerant and high-tempered?

She's a drama queen. I had a friend like that.
She was very loud and demanding and intimidating. I kicked her in the ankle once (I was like 8 lol) and she came to school the next day with her ankle all bandaged up and told everyone that I kicked her. Anyway, few people liked her. I did, though because I'd known her for a very long time. I knew her family very well and even her family friends. You just need to learn how to deal with her. Tell her you aren't falling for any of her illnesses and injuries and lies. Make sure she knows that she can't get any attention from you. At least not attention from the lies she makes up. She'll get it eventually. It doesn't mean she's a bad person. Typically if people try to make you look bad and think you're doing things wrong, it means they're insecure and are just trying to make you feel as bad as they do.
She's obviously lacking attention. What are her parents like? Are they divorced? Alcoholics? Neglectful? That probably has something to do with it. If kids don't receive the attention they need at home, they'll look for it elsewhere. That's the way things are. My friend was like that. We've since moved on, but I know if I'm in trouble I can go to her or her family for help.

No, no, no. I have friends like that. They try to put me down to make me feel terrible about myself, just to make themselves look better. The best thing you can do is avoid the conflict and change the subject. I stay distant with my ex best friend who's been doing that for ages. I just remember the things that I know I have and she doesn't. I'm sure your friend is jealous over something you have and she doesn't.
I talk to her on facebook now and then.. but not too much. You need friends that respect you. She's a liar in a form and you need people who are going to be loyal.
