What percentage of people search answers before posting a question?
I know that often times I will post a question that has been asked before for updated or different opinions, or if there weren't many or good answers for the past questions. That being said sometimes I just can't be bothered to give another thorough answer to an important question that I've answered before.

Can't even guess at a percentage, but I'd say not many!
This is undoubtedly why so many 'category regulars' have stock answers which they use to answer those questions that are asked over and over and over again.
If your 'thorough answer' is a good one ... why not save it to use next time the question is asked?
