SOME FILES ON ITUNES GET A (!) NEXT TO THE SONG AFTER A FEW PLAYS AND GETS RELOCATED WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN?
WHEN I DOWNLOAD FILES FROM LIMEWIRE TO ITUNES CERTAIN SONGS WILL GET AN (!) EXCLAMATION POINT NEXT TO A SONG AND RENDERS IT UNPLAYABLE..IT SAYS THE FILE CANNOT BE FOUND AND ASKS IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO LOCATE IT..I DON'T GET HOW TO FIND THE FILE OR UNDERSTAND WHY THIS HAPPENS..IS THERE A WAY TO CONFIGURE LIMEWIRE OR ITUNES SO THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN? PLEASE LET ME KNOW FOR THIS IS VERY ANNOYING THERE HAS TO BE AN ANSWER...THANKS TO THE PERSON WHO CAN HELP....

this happens when you have your songs in one file then sync them to iTunes then you move the songs to another file. basically it doesn't know where the songs are anymore. what I would do in your case is to remove all songs from your iTunes then get ALL your songs into one place where they will stay forever and if you download a new song, before playing it and letting it sync to iTunes, first put it in the folder you have your music in then play it so it syncs to your iTunes from there not from your downloads folder. hope this helps.
