I am not certain what you are asking here... are you a celiac that doesn't want to follow a gluten free diet or do you have another auto-immune disease that you have heard can be eased by following a gf diet?

Sure, being gf adds a lot of challenges, but so did joint pain, mouth ulcers, the big D randomly, cramping, and anemia... so, personally, having to pack a lunch isn't as bad as all of that other stuff considering....

    Source(s): I am a celiac.

If you know you do not have celiac disease, I assume you have been tested for it with either blood work, genetics or an endoscope. Have you also been tested for non-celiac gluten intolerance. It is a condition where your body has problems with gluten but is either pre-celiac or not severe enough to be measured or seen with the testing. The only way to check for non-celiac gluten intolerance is to go on a gluten free diet for 2-3 months and see if your problems improve or go away.

Read the article I attached especially the inset about halfway through on the celiac iceberg. I have lived gluten free for 8 years and after the adjustment period and learning curve, it has not been difficult. If it controls your flares or lessens them, I would recommend you stay gluten free to maybe avoid the flares completely.

Re: why that's significant get clinically determined. Celiac affliction reasons greater actual problems than gluten intolerance. it may can intense nutrition deficiencies that must be examined for, organ harm, infertility, harm to bones and skin and each gadget interior the physique. those are no longer likely to be examined for till the well being care expert is familiar with which you have the affliction. additionally, in case you ever desire medicine interior the destiny which will must be gluten loose, insurance in specific situations won't pay for it till your well being care expert provides a scientific condition as a reason for you to require GF medicine. faculties and their nutrition courses could be an argument, besides, in case you desire to get into college. Many nutrition plans won't supply GF nutrition till you have a doctor's observe that that's a call for.
