Is it OK to format an ipod to usb?
I have a 4th or 5th gen ipod classic which is 160gb. I just bought a new laptop and wanted to put the recovery settings onto the ipod but inorder to do that i would have to reformat it and all the data on the ipod will be lost. I wanted to know if the ipod was reformated would i still be able to use it for music and stuff

Yes you will be able to still use it you will just half to put all of your music and personal stuff back on it
