Um, does anyone else do this? I'm feeling wierd?

Question

So, the thing is I'm a writer and a drawer. SO whenever I'm like watching a movie or listening to music or whatever, I start to imagine how I could draw it out, or how I could write it. Like for example, I'll be watching Fruits basket (kind of like a japanese cartoon) and when they're doing something I start forming sentences in my mind about how it would feel. As if I were writing it as my own book. Does anyone else do this??

I do that all the time. When I'm watching a movie I think about how I would write it out or even draw it. When I watch anime (by the way, I love Fruits Basket) I try to draw it, but I really suck at it. I don't know why you would feel weird about it, since I think it's actually fun--writing out a movie or drawing it.

Yes. I mainly do the opposite thing, being I read books and I can imagine exactly how I would make them into movies, the actors' looks, what would have to be excluded from the book etc.

Lol yeah sometimes I do that with TV shows/movies. I'll even like imagine a script in my head of what they're saying and doing. Like I might think if I'm watching this show iCarly, I'll imagine in my head "(Sam walks over to Freddie and punches him) Freddie: Ow, what was that for?" Lol.

www.fanfiction.net. Plenty of Fruits Basket fanfic on there.

yep. the weirdest part is when i do it to my dreams. i wake up thinking i have a great story, then i can't remember any of the words i used
