Could someone read my speech? Any tips would be super helpful.?

Hi everyone! My name is Gina Huynh and as you probably already know, I’m in seventh grade and I’m running for a position as an ASB Class Senator.

Some things about myself are that I

· Have a get-it-done-and-get-it-done-well attitude

· I’m love to listen and help others

· My friends tell me I’m very organized

· Over-achiever. Must have good grades.

· Also I was the ASB President last year at my Elem. School so I do have some experience in the matter.

Some other things about me are that I’m pretty involved. I’m in Northwood’s choir, Jazz Choir, Drama Club, and hopefully I’ll be in NW’s ASB *wink, wink*

Why do I want to be an ASB Class Senator? Well I want to be an ASB Class Senator because I want to make you guys happy. I believe that school can be really fun for all of us. I want this to be your best year ever so I want to dedicate some of my time to help make your pep assemblies, dances, spirit days, and fund raisers fun and helpful to Northwood and our community.

Okay, so now it’s time for you to get to participate in my presentation. What is the best holiday of the year that is made just for you? Your birthday! Yeah! Okay so part of showing that I care about your happiness… raise your hand if it’s your birthday today! Yeah, what’s your name? All right then, blank. Since it’s your birthday… “Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you… etc.” Happy birthday, blank!

Moving on! You guys on the RIGHT side of the gym, when I point at you, you’re going to scream “VOTE!” You guys on the LEFT side of the gym, when I point at you you’re going to scream “GINA!!!” Okay so here we go. But first it’s no fun to scream without music. So this boom box next to me is for playing the best song ever!!! *Turn on “Dynamite” * Yeeeaaah. Okay! Here we go!!! *VOTE! … GINA!!! … VOTE! … GINA!!! …* Whoooo! All right. (W8 for quiet) Hey guy’s I have one more thing to say!!! If you ever want to talk to me, I’ll be around and remember.
