1995 Honda Accord I need some opinons from an expert.?
Hi I just purchased an accord with 117k miles on it but it has came with quite a few problems which I'm willing to invest in it. One of these problems include the speedometer and odometer not working but I did a car fax on it and the milage is pretty solid as it was smogged two months prior and the milage was recorded at that time at 116k miles so the odometer malfunction was recent. Basically what I want is how much do you think all this will cost and in what order should I do the repairs.
1. Power Steering pump is leaking fluid and one of the hoses is pretty wore out.
2. The speedometer and odometer is not working checked the wire to the transmission Big O tires says i need a new cluster.
3. One of the motor mounts is wore care shakes when its in reverse (not to bad though).
4. Revs up and down at times when at idle from 1x to 2x rpms.
5. Heater only blows out cold air.
6. Driver side door lock is jammed locked can't even pull up on it to disengage the lock.
Thats about it, I know its alot but this car just got me from California to Colorado so in my head its telling me if it made that trip with all these problems if I put the time and money in it should treat me well ahead in the future. Thanks for your time.

Honestly, i despise foreign cars and very rarely work on them due to my own opinions. however, the heater only blowing out cold air is evidence that coolant is not reaching the heater core. the heater core is basically a small radiator that the blower motor blows air through, as the air is forced through the aluminum fins, the air is heated from the hot coolant passing through the heater core. you could have a clogged hose, which is easily fixed with a radiator flush. do a youtube search for radiator flush and most videos will use a connector tee and deflector tube back-flush kit made by prestone (abt 4 dollars at auto zone) the idle could be the IAC or Idle air control module/sensor. hope this helps!
