best cruise ship for a july cruise?
We've been looking at going on Freedom of the Seas or the Carnival Valour I believe. Which one would you choose, and why? There is a difference in price but that's not really an issue for us.
The ports are very similar.

Freedom of the Seas. is newer, larger, more attractive, has much more to do, and gets higher ratings.
Cruise critic, my favorite site, gives Freedom of the Seas 4.5 stars and the Valour 4.
However, I have been on both and prefer the food on Carnival. Amazing as it sounds, the food on Carnival is only a notch below Crystal, my favorite upscale cruise line, at a fraction of the price.
Cruise critic is a great place to check for reviews since members generate them. I will give you a link also for one that I wrote on a similar ship to the Valour, the Liberty.
