I guess only Members for the cult of Jehovah Witness will agrees with that. Since this is an alteration from the alteration from the alteration from the alteration of the original bible which states "that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night".

The meaning of the two phrases are totally different. In JW, it means The date "Jehovah's day" is coming. In other mainstream christianity, it means the day this god comes, he comes subtly without any knowledge of others.

Do we agree with it? Agree with what, that Thessalonians 5:2, 6 said that? Sure. Absolutely. It sure did. Yes indeedy.

I think we always should live as if we expect Jesus to return at any moment. Since any of us could die at any moment, we should live as if we will meet Jesus very soon.

I think it is best not to interpret or try to understand verses of sacred scripture out of context. Thessalonians was not written as a collection of separate verses. It was written as a letter, and makes the most sense if it is read as a letter.

Yes I do agree with it. It also says that you do not light a candle and put it under a basket. Do not forget the virgins who missed their appointed time at the wedding because they lacked oil for their lamps.

Of course I agree it is the word of God..It does not mean we never get physical sleep it means that we need to NOT be SPIRITUALLY asleep which means we need to always be aware of our actions and the way we are living our lives because we never know when the Lord is going to come and we do not want to be caught in a situation that is not serving of God!

Definitely agree, but it's the how to not get caught up in

daily 'problems', not to get distracted. Jesus echoed 'to watch'

and also it says to be sober like sober-minded, not caught up

in things that lead the wrong way. Oh, this takes a lot of

awareness, and self-management, or 'dying to self'.

As it says the end is near, be ready for many will not be. Jesus is returning sooner than most know or realize.

The signs are here, Jesus can return anytime. I believe in our lifetime, as do others.

I'm very troubled by this. I'm going to have to update my home security system settings to protect against deity break-ins.
