USA President for a day, what would you do.?

There really isn't much you could actually accomplish, but I'd use the bully pulpit to campaign for some of the things that are near and dear to me, such as Arts funding, universal health care, environmental responsibility, decreasing the influence of lobbyists and special interest groups, recognizing unsung heroes such as teachers and first responders, and push for human rights reform here and abroad. I might pardon someone if I could find anyone worthy and I'd love to present medals to brave men and women of the Armed Forces.

I'd do some fun stuff like get a complete White House tour, including the Situation Room, the family quarters, and Cheney's bunker. I'd take a short flight on Air Force One (maybe just to visit and recognize a small company that is bringing manufacturing jobs back to America and being a good corporate citizen) and host a party of some sort in the East Room where I'd invite Congressional, cultural, and business leaders in order to push for some of the things listed above. It might be nice to welcome a championship team or dedicated arts group to the White House, too.

You really couldn't enact legislation, repeal any laws, or nominate any judges, though I might make a speech about it and issue the appropriate Executive Orders. But I bet people would laugh at my jokes for a change. My son might even think I'm less of a doofus, depending on what I did on my one day.

Give a rousing speech about all the good things I have done and rally the country to do the remaining things.

immediately repeal obamacare. then i would push for a house and senate procedural change requiring any and all new law to be reviewed and approved by a constitutional law committee chartered with one function - to protect the constitution of the usa
