Who has the edge in this trade?
So I'm trading Farve and A. Hernandez for Carolina Steve Smith and Brandon Jackson. I have Moeaki and Pettigrew as my Tight Ends and Phillip Rivers as my QB. My Wide Recievers are White, Owens, and Floyd.
Who has the edge in this deal?
Smith would be on my bench, hoping that he improves and returns to form. Moeaki is a red-zone threat early in his career and I have Kellen Winslow available through waivers.
B. Jackson is a throw-in and I'm most likely dropping him.
I don't need Farve he's my back-up, I need a back-up WR and Smith has 2 very good games in the 1st two weeks. He's still Steve Smith and will be good again. I don't need him for this upcoming week.

I don't like it. Smith is banged up (in fact not even playing this weekend) and if Jackson can't score more than 3 points at home vs. Detroit then when is he going to put up points? I still think Green Bay is going to be active in finding another running back. Remember- in the past they haven't been afraid to grab guys like Grant, Gado, and Ahman Green as free agents or off practice squads and plugging them right in there mid-season.
Moeaki and Pettigrew are both downgrades from Hernandez and you'd be trading Favre when his value is the lowest.

your opponent your getting crap especially now that Farve has Moss. and once Rice comes back he'll be like he was last year. if you still can DECLINE THE TRADE!!!
