Problem with drivers?

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-CR510E which I initially ran Windows Vista on. I have since installed Windows 7. Unable to use my webcam, I downloaded and installed the appropriate drivers, but Webcam Companion 2 says, "A webcam was not found or is not working properly". What can I do to fix this?

    Nothing ... apart from buy a new webcam, my friend.

    It seems that the drivers you have are not compatible with Windows 7, and there may not be drivers for that particular webcam. Sorry.
