Does anyone have advice on how to get over someone?

First, you got to consider how long you were together, because the longer you were together, the harder it will be to get over.

2nd, how recent the "getting over" thing was. If it was just a week ago, then expect that it is still fresh.

3rd, when something or someone left or we left them, a void is present. It has to be replaced with something or someone for that matter. Go out with other friends, talk with the people you are close with, play some sports, things like that. You have to find deviations of some sort, just to get over someone. Remember, we don't have a capacity to forget, but at least we can be distracted from remembering. :)

Think about all her imperfections, all the ugly sides of her personality and appearance. Nobody is perfect so you'll find some. When you first decided to love her you probably made a conscious choice to overlook all those bad things but now it's the time to bring them to light.

Another thing to think about is that one day we will all be rotting disgusting worm food. Unless you decide to be ashes.
