Are all ocean view cabins equiped with twin beds unless otherwise stated?
I was told by my friend who booked the cruise that we have twin beds, but the pics in the brocure and on-line show bigger (queen??) beds for our ocean view cabin. Just curious as I'm not used to sleeping on a twin bed.

Almost every cruise cabin (except a few of the top-end suites on a few lines) have twin beds that can be hooked together to form a queen-size bed.
Actually, the beds are narrower than twin. A twin mattress is 39" wide and a queen is 60". So the "cruise twin" is actually more like 30" wide. It's quite a change if you're used to having a full size bed all to yourself, as I do!

I had an ocean view with a queen size bed in it. I believe that all you have to do is request the bed be shoved together to make a queen size. You can request this when you book your cruise to save the staff time and trouble of doing it later. The only exception is with a cabin for 4 people. Then they can not put the beds together(at least with Princess cruise lines, that is).
