Virgin Mobile vs GoPhone?

I am actually thinking in dropping my AT&T GoPhone and go with Virgin Mobile instead. I see they have a $25/month (add $10 more if I buy the Blackberry Smartphone which I plan to if I go w/VM)... so $35/month seems fair with unlimited web, data, txting, email, and w/300 mins (which I don't talk that much on the phone anyway).

I just wonder if other VM users are happy w/them. VM is Sprint; right? I still wonder if it's worth it going w/VM and keep my current mobile number too. I've been with GoPhone for maybe 4 yrs and I use an iPhone w/it. If I unlock my iPhone, can I still use it w/VM?

I'm not really sure about unlocking the Iphone for Vm.VM runs on Sprint network. I have a rumor2 virgin mobile phone and the $25 beyond talk plan. Its perfect for me because I don't talk a lot on the phone too. The reason you can't use your Iphone is because when you activate a VM cell, you need to enter a 16-18 digit number when activating your cell. I looked on the website and noticed that they have the Blackberry Curve for $249.99. Just thought I let you know. You can also activate by phone calling the VM Number(*86).
