If you go out of state for college, can you get tuition dropped to the in-state rate for the remaining years?

obviously you'ed pay the out of state for year one

    Nope. Once you're admitted as out-of-state, you will be considered out-of-state for the remaining years. The one year residency rule doesn't mean your first year of college. It means you have to live in-state for one year BEFORE enrolling.

    Once an out-of-state, ALWAYS an out of state. There is much more to residency that simply living in a state and you can't count your time while a college student towards your time there. Sorry!!

    you'll end up paying out of state tuition all 4 years.
