Burning while urinating?

I'm a 17 year old female and i'm not sexually active, so its not an STD. And bladder infection symptoms don't make sense. It started off with being REALLY itchy...and is STILL itchy but now when I try to itch it or put vagisil on it it BURNS. It also burns when I urinate. But it only burns aroud the opening. What could it be? (I know I should go to a doctor. thats not helpful information...I will end up going...i'm just trying to find out what it is first)

It could still be an UTI.

Go see a doctor before it gets to a point where you bleed when you urinate and it hurts like hell!!! If it's a UTI, you need to be treated. if it's something else, you will need to be treated as well!

    Good luck and get well!

Sounds like a yeast infection. You can take care of it with over the counter stuff. Take care of it tonight, so you'll be a lot more comfortable tomorrow. A yeast infection is not an STD - it's just your body getting out of balance.

it could be a uti or a yeast infection to see a doctor fast it will only get worst and stop using over the counter drugs until you find out what the problem actually is.

There are too many female pelvic infections for anyone to tell you what you've got. You go to the doctor for a diagnosis, you don't go so that you can tell them what you have.

You scratch an itch, you do not "itch it".
