Help with itunes. I signed into my account and my music isn't there?

I had a whole library of music and some money on my itunes, under an account on my old computer. That computer crashed so had to get a new one. I signed in to the account that had my library of music and money but now only the money is there and no songs at all. Can anyone help?

iTunes stores the music that you download on the hard drive on your computer. So, that is why you do not see it on the new computer. It's possible that you can still recover it from the old computer but you would have to get a computer geek that knows how to recover data off a crashed hard drive or take it to a profession data recovery place to do that. I do not know if iTunes can help you or not. But, if they have any records at all of what you purchased, they may have a method in place of allowing you to re-download all of that music. You just learned a very valuable lesson. You always need to have backup copies of all your data (including music) that is stored on a separate hard drive. I think it's also important to beck up your backup drive as well just in case. So, you need to have 3 hard drives and either uses Windows backup facilities or get a good backup software program that will keep you data safe from crashes..
