Heard of the Blue Buffalo Co Dog Food Recall?
My dog had the runs for over a week and nothing was working until i tried cottage cheese, yogurt, infant (baby food) beef, white rice and of course Pedialyte. She was acting fine finally this morning and pooped perfectly which was why i didn't take her to the vet. I went to buy something for her at the pet food store and found the Blue recall notice posted there.
See the attached link. http://www.bluebuffalo.com/news/vitamin-d-voluntar...
She had the runs, not nausea nor infection. I will not give drugs to my dog unecessarily especially if the vet is guessing. The liver is negatively impacted every time a drug is put in to your (or your dog's) system

Thank goodness she is ok! That is very scary. Blue Buffalo has been having problems for awhile - http://health4uandpets.typepad.com/healthproducts/...
It's good your pet store posted it and you saw it. Unfortunately so many people don't see recalls until they are too late.

Yes, someone else in the dog section posted it a few days ago.
One of my dogs had similar symptoms a few weeks ago, but she was not eating Blue Buffalo.
I took her to the vet (as you should have done), he gave her anti nausea medication and an antibiotic and she improved right away.
So....your dogs symptoms may or may not be related to the food, but if you have that particular food, you should return it.
