Biggie and Tupac legends? What do you think?
respect biggie and tupac but do you think they are massive legends because they were the greatest of all time or because they died early in the middle of there careers when they were so hyped up.
They died real young so we never got to see them later in their career would they end up falling off or becoming wack like snoop dogg. If they would not have died they would have been just normal rappers so are they really legends and the best or we put them up there because they are dead
what y'all think. That incleds Big L 2 we idolize them because of their potential and BIg L and Biggie do not have a lot of material we can base their potentail on so are they really legends?

No, they really were the best. You don't hear everyone still talking about D12 casue Proof got shot.

Realistically it all depends on perspective. How do you measure who is the greatest? By the height of their career, or their consistency?
If by the height, certainly, but as always they aren't the only legends there are many.
If by consistency we can't really measure this, we would have to include career length, but you could make the argument for 2pac cus he made so damn much.

Well. I think dying young is part of it. Naturally we cling on to the deceased. And They're career ending in their peaks. So like you said they never got to "fall off" I think they are still really legends.

Well they both were great but 2Pac spoke real sh*t....that ppl who weren't born w/ a silver spoon can relate to & biggie did to....even his material they use now w/ new artist he's still cold....i feel like he would have been advancing & doing his thing & would be like Jay-Z on top of his business if he was here....2Pac is a legend & deserves the title.
