Who is watching the new V series on sky, ch one?

I was excited when I heard about the remake, but frankly found it disappointing. There were a lot of problems behind the set - they fired the producer after 3 episodes, replaced him, fired the replacement and then took it off the air for several months to retool it. This all shows. The show is very uneven. There are problems with pacing, logic, awful characterization (I often found myself rooting for the bad guys because so many of the 'heroes' are so incredibly annoying).

The series has a great deal of potential, but the execution in season 1 was seriously lacking. I hope that having several months to plan and fix the problems over the summer means they've made radical improvements. What I found most annoying was that the original was in many ways allegorical. It had a strong theme and a point to make. The new version doesn't. It kind of rambles and wanders around aimlessly.

I'd recommend watching the original. Parts are dated but it does hold up, and I think it's better than the remake.

Well, the season is only 12 episodes and Season 2 starts in November over here in Canada, U.S. I haven't seen the original but know from old fans keep different are the main hero is a woman not a man, we don't see the full Visitor skin until Season 2, their is a baby but all you'll see is the tail. "V" stands for Visitors but the priest wil suggest they change it to Victory. The general public doesn't know their really lizards. The Nazi allegory is gone, and because of the way the plot moves the 5th column looks like terrorists to the main public. The term "collaborator" is gone, and the 5th column so far only seems like 4 or 5 people because it only really focuses in New York, group.

Oh, Jane Balder will play a new Dianna in Season 2, not related to the original, imprisoned on the V's ship by her daughter Anna, and we'll see what their home planet looks like based on the room Diana is kept in.

I also watched it and really enjoyed it to be honest. I watched the original and loved it even tho i was only 5/6 years old however Sky1 showed V and i caught up many years l8r.

was abit disappointed that they call them the V's instead of the visitors and that they had changed many of the characters. The Visitors also dont have the lizard voice either.....

I look 4ward to watching on a Monday, the SFX are brilliant but i do wish they would have kept some things the same

It's the best game.

in this area here in california and according too our research department aBC which originally carried the episodes last season haven't announced as too whenever its coming back or not. we don't know if abc will bring back season 2 or what. we have no idea if your watching reruns from its first season or what
