Are Thongs Bad For You ?

I read in a doctors report that wearing thongs can cause a really bad infection. It happens when you don't clean your butt area right. All those nasty germs that was once inside is now on the outside being transferred onto your thong and is now rubbing against your private parts. Has anyone ever had this happen to them ?

Yes, a thong is basically a highway for bacteria from the anus to the vagina and urethra. And although not keeping clean certainly will hasten the event, even if you are careful it can still happen. That thong still rubs, shifts and moves while you are wearing it, and moving around. While nobody can be absolutely sure where the germs came from that gave you an infection, if you wear a thong- you've certainly put out the welcome mat. We normally tell ladies with vaginal infections to avoid wearing their thongs at least until the infection is cleared up. I do know we've seen a few that had serious troubles staying clear until they gave up the thongs entirely. If you want to wear one, you certainly can. But you can still get an infection, no matter how well you try to clean.
