thanks mark thanks over2u thanks EL
well firstly why pay pricewise or all these get rich quick tipping firms that just want to make money out of you when you can get your tips for free on yahoo sat tipster comp ???
errrr 13 of us tipping 17 winners speaks for itself !!!!!!
for me the succsess is the people that takepart weeek in week out
the friendliness and support and knowledge and total kindness and respect from
a whole bunch of basic strangers that makes us all a good team !!!!!
a feel i no LL as he is a legend and really nice guy sadly i also no
steve r as i work with him ( JOKING ste) but other than that
I FEEL I HAVE SOME REALLY GREAT FRIENDS !!!!!!
that i have never met !!!!
so please direct all your tributes amongst yourselves and remember
its all yourselves that make this comp what it is
i think the likes of JACQUI + MARK + KEZZA (with his tent) make this section
tick over and others aswell and without them we would not have this amazing
community that we have built !!!
should anyone want to run the jumps then you are wellcome
if not we then start fresh next saturday as normal
i just cant wait to see the racing on saturday and see who has the nerve or knowledge or even luck to take the 2010 flat comp !!!!!!!!!!!!!
cheers EVERYONE your all brilliant !!!!!!

Cheers Mr Bookie for asking this question and well done to Des for having the patience to run this compy week in week out. This is probably the only horse racing website on the internet where people are actually courteous and friendly to each other. I've seen a few other websites where people frequently tear strips out of each other. Thankfully this one isn't like that.
Best of luck to Des, Hotfuss and Jonova tomorrow for the bragging rights to being the top tipster for the 2010 Flat Season. I don't think Hotfuss and Jonova will mind too much if the rest of us will be hoping that Des can do the business and win it ;-)

Des, just to say thanks for all your hard work and time taken to run this fun comp, a few of us have had their ups and downs and with my personal selections there were certainly more DOWNS than ups, but all the same it has been great fun taking part and reading the banter , I also thank you for your little compliment and yes Des ive done a few different things in my life but I am certainly not a legend and never will be,but it felt very complimentary for you to say that.
Also it must be said to everyone who has taken part in comp,THANKS as it would not be worth des,s efforts if we did not support what hes doing . So everyone have good luck tomorrow in final day of flat, and have a real prosperous jumps season.
Frankel looks like a good thing on SAT, but Godolphin now say their horse is like Pegasus at home so maybe a good FC.
Cheers all and good luck ,LL

Des..I think you can see by the response to Mr. Bookies question how highly regarded you are here and thank you so much for running the Compy and bringing us all together with one thing that unites us all our love of horse racing and the horse and jockeys wellbeing.
I think you could actually post my selections for me Des each week as you know the horses that I follow time after time when they run at Newmarket, Barshiba in particular, not always to my profit!!!
Your tipping has been 'On Fire' this flat season and it's going to be a cliffhanger to see who gets to topple Hot Fuss (if anyone) or who may do a Tommy2cans and snatch victory at the last minute.
Whoever wins it's the taking part that matters and I have enjoyed every minute of it, thank you...Jac xxx

Well done Des for all your efforts, go out tomorrow & have a well earnt game of golf!
Will deffo join in with the jumps (or as LL calls it "proper" racing) compy & try and hone my tote ten to follow picks.
Dream Ahead could be the value in the last HQ Dewhurst.

It sure is a great competition and we've got a great community here.
Well done Des for creating and maintaining our weekly get together. I realise there's a lot of hard work involved in running such a competition and we're all very grateful for your efforts.
I dont mean to take sides but it would be fitting if you were to be crowned the winner of your own competition this weekend.
Best of luck.

Brilliant again Des, appreciate all the effort you put in week in, week out. Thanks. Well done Mr. Bookie for this question too, Bravo ;)
Edit: Think O'Brien might pull another rabbit out of his hat in the dewhurst, Roderick O'Connor EW bet for me, keeping it small though, could be a great race or a load of racing media over-hyped types, time will tell ;)
