Why dont ray comfort's fans and supporters chip in for the $100,000 donation demanded by Dawkins for a debate?

Update:

I would even chip in myself. I would love to see him have his a s s handed to him

Update 2:

"Actually, it's $20,000."

like i said, it is $100,000

Update 3:

" You can tell him that if he donates $100,000 to the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science (it's a charitable donation, tax deductible) I'll do it."

Update 4:

comfort offered $20,000

dawkins demanded $100,000

Update 5:

" My interest is in getting the Banana Man to PART with $100,000 of his money so that that money will NOT be available for buying animatronic dinosaurs with saddles, or other similar nonsense. The fact that he would be making a substantial donation to a charity dedicated to Reason and Science adds to the humour of the situation"

Because Dawkins would eviscerate Comfort in a debate and I'm sure Comfort knows it.

Ah, thanks Facepalm, saves me looking up the figure myself.

Edit> No, the asker is right, it is $100,000. Seems steep even to me, but I know why Dawkins is doing it.

    Actually, it's $20,000.

Okay, now it's raised to $100,000.

Because church-goer money is so unlimited.
