Why does my hand hurt?

I play guitar, and ive been playing for about 3 years now, and even now my hand still hurts from holding chords, doing skips when playing metal, and playing for a long time.

Idk why its like this, am i holding it wrong??? Is the guitar to close to my body or something?

It's because you're using your hand ina continuous motion.

Try handwriting for a long long time. in the end your hand might hurt if you're rushing yourself.

    It's natural.

Unless its like this horrible sharp pain, then you should see a doctor or something.

I think you just hold your hands in the wrong way.
