I would like to start wearing eyeshadow.?

I am an african american woman and I have small eyelids. My complexion is dark brown. Does anyone have any color suggestions or application tip?

Invest in some good brushes. Good doesn't always mean expensive. You can find some good brushes at Target or http://www.goldenfacescosmetics.com/

Get a good eyeshadow prep or base and some concealer, one the same shade as your skin and one a shade lighter.

If you have brown eyes, darker blues, purples, and golds are complimenting. Most cool shades compliment brown eyes. Its going to be trial and error, depending on your taste. It's fun trying on shadows and makeup tho. Enjoy!

Source(s): also try http://www.goldenfacescosmetics.com,/ theirs is only $17.99 and right now I think you get free Priority shipping and it takes 2-3 days. I found out when I came across their YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/GoldenFacesCosmetics they are also giving away a free one for subscribing contest
