It doesn't have to be an example from history because the directions say that it can be a time in your life...but I'll give you an example from history, too :)

In the early 1800s, slavery was a big part of the South. They worked in plantations and factories and weren't treated well. Many of the Founding Fathers didn't agree with slavery, but did nothing to stop it. For example, George Washington, owned many slaves, but wished that they would all be given freedom after he died. He knew that slavery wasn't good and knew that it "ought" to stop, but he wanted it to end after he died because of his "want" for a carefree, easy life with slaves.

Nope, my philosophy on existence is amazingly multiple... and on a similar time fairly basic. the ordinary fact that defines my philosophy is "have relaxing."
