Who would be better qualified for a web design job?
Someone with a 4 year CIS degree(Computer Information Science) or someone with a 2 year web deisgn degree.

The two year degree. If you're solely thinking of web design, that is. A 4 year CIS degree is going to be overkill. I did a 4 year Comp Sci degree, and it taught me 15 different languages, networks, databases, etc. If you're strictly thinking of how to design a website - the look, feel, graphics, etc., then the 2 year degree is plenty. Now if you want to actually implement the website programmatically, that's something different.

You can get a job in web design with either degree but the four year one would be more qualified. Also depends on your portfolio/experience.

Some one who has 2 years in Web Design Field is better than 6 years General Computer Knowledge
