iPhone 4, HTC HD7 or HTC desire? What should my next Phone be?
Owned an iPhone for the last year. Looking to buy a new phone now my contract is over. Worried about the iPhone 4 though. also worried about w7 mobile and androids flaws too.
Please no fanboy responses they aren't helpful. Please give reasons for your answers :3
thanks all
flaws for android? it can be fiddly and the marketplace is dodgy because theres no approval system of any kind. plus theres actually a large amount of android bloatware. and i know theres flaws for all of them. but its a matter of picking the oen with the evils i can live with
@phone geek

Dude wp7 has been out less than a week i dont think anybody has one yet. Also im really not interested in it. Ill play with it when i find some with it. But i have owned BBs, Androids and even an iphone for about a week
Go with an android phone. you can customize your phone how you want it.
Better processors out
better cameras
More choices-price range and options
Free google nav
removeable battery
expandable memory
i mean the list goes on...........
What flaws are you talking about? There is no such thing as a perfect no problems phone.
Market place approval thing is kinda nice that means android is true open source you just need to watch what you download say a wallpaper app if it needs access to your contacts then don't download it.
Bloatware-ill agree there is alot but there is always rooting to get them off there. Also there is a way to disable those apps thru terminal with out having root.
Fiddly? dont know what you mean by that. not all android handsets are equal dont expect a mytouch to preform like a Nexus One just hte same dont expect a iphone 1g perform like the new 4.
It sounds like you have already made up your mind so go with it and be happy. It all comes down to what you want and what you can live with,
The iphone offers an easy OS but its limited by the almighty Jobs as what you can do with YOUR phone. He pretty much tells you what to do with YOUR 600 dollar phone
@Ros...

My HTCs have lasted along time and i beat the living piss out of my phones due to the locations i work.

Iphone is great for the apps and is universal a great cellular telephone. the only element that tops it IMO is a blackberry, yet this is greater organization-like and would possibly no longer cater on your needs... Iphone over an android telephone any day.

i think you can go with HTC A8181 Desire Unlocked Quad-Band GSM Phone with Android OS, HTC Sense UI, 5 MP Camera, Wi-Fi and GPS--International Version with Warranty (Brown)
HTC Desire delivers intense brilliance, sharp contrast, and true colors on the expansive 3.7-inch AMOLED display. With the HTC Desire, it?s all about your information, your entertainment, your multimedia, your way. A multitude of HTC Sense widgets makes it easy to transform your Home screen with rich content that personalizes your phone experience.

HTC Is worthless. I have an HTC phone.
It's balls, just balls. It lags, it freezes, it doesn't delete properly, the touch screen's calibration is always off.
PLEASE, don't get an HTC.
They're great at first, but then you'll regret buying one.
