Chase: present balance v. available balance?
On Friday I went to chase to deposit a 521$ check. Previously I had 25$, so i deposited the check and withdrew 100$. I was left with 446$. When i logged on to my account to check, it said i had a present balance of 25$ and an available balance of 446$. does this mean i cant spend over 25$??? and if so how long does it take Chase to clear a check?? should i call??

It looks like Chase went ahead and credited you the full amount of the check, which means your available balance is $446, but the check has not cleared.
You have $446 available to spend.

You are looking at Friday's close on your Chase account. It will update tonight at midnight and show both balances as the same tomorrow when you log-in. They have given you $100 courtesy credit on Friday which you used when you took out $100. The rest of the balance was available this morning.
