If space has multiple dimensions...?

Cannot time have multiple dimensions as well? I know this seems abstract. Could we be able to not only move forward through time, but backward, up and down, and side to side through time?

Holden Smith is mostly correct except that time is not a dimension. Time is an illusion created by the 4th dimension as we observe cross sections of it. The illusion of time is only based off of one dimension so you can only go forwards or backwards; there is no up, down, etc.

Space has only three dimensions. Time itself is another dimension.

We live in a 3d world, namely (x,y,z), time is the 4th dimension, t, or (x,y,z,t)

Also we cannot travel back in time, that is impossible. We can, however, go to the future.

2 out of 1 of Schroedinger's cats agree that they are probably dead already, but you may want to check your watch.
