I have been given a project on geriatric(old age) problems for medical sociology subject... i am in 1st year physiotherapy...and i really want to know which all topics to cover in it...written work should be of 20 pages and presentation of around 30 mins...i want to know the basic important points which i should deal with social as well as medical...PLEASE HELP ME! thanks!

Look at the limiting physical conditions associated with declining energy, ability, inclination, need to do, usurpation of power by the able bodied to get job done.....over cosseting, being in a back stream in a busy world, not understanding full implications of physical inaction....
Just jumbled thoughts as they came. Hope it helps. ( There is also a perplexity about how life has changed for them and perhaps a trying to sweep it under the carpet, hoping that it will disappear.)
