Who has a good recipe for Lady Baltimore cake?
I keep hearing people talk about how good a Lady Baltimore cake tastes. What exactly is a Lady Baltimore cake & does anyone have a tried & true recipe for making one.

I have not tried one, either, but it seems as though this is a white cake with raisins, candied cherries, pecans and a meringue frosting as a filling and the meringue frosting on top and sides. I might give it a try this baking season! Thanks for the idea. I'll be interested in what recipes you get here, too. I did find a recipe on allrecipes.com that seems reasonable.
