Can you use a brownie mix for a cake (10 points!!)?

Yea of course you can make a brownie cake. I had one for my birthday it was delicious

"Betty Crocker Fudge Brownies, directions from cake mix box. You will need 1 Package Brownie Mix 1/4 cup water 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil 2 Eggs Heat oven to 350 degrees for 9" x 9" pan, 325 degrees for 8 inch pan Grease or spray with cooking spray bottom only of pan Stir Brownie Mix, Water, Oil and Eggs until well blended. Spread in pan, 9" x 9", or 8" x 8" Bake for 35 to 50 minutes, longer for the batter in the 8 inch pan. Test brownies for doneness with wooden toothpick, inserted about 2 inches from edge of pan. Batter may still be a little moist, but will be completely done by the time it cools."

*Bake 2 boxes of brownie mix in a 13x9 pan (or 2 smaller pans). *Make frosting or buy vanilla frosting.

*Crush a handful of oreo cookies in a plastic bag

*Add crushed oreos to the frosting

*Use the frosting as filling (between the 2 brownie layers) and on top of the cake.

*Garnish with any extra oreos

2 boxes of brownie mix baked in 8" cake pans are the start to making the "death by Chocolate cake. You will need ganache, and chocolate butter cream, and bittersweet chocolate shavings, plus truffles for garnish.

It would just make a cake shaped brownie or if your mixing it with cake mix half brownie half cake. I bet it would taste good.

yes you can. just if the brownie recipe calls for 2 eggs use 3. its makes the brownies more like a cake instead of a brownie.

Add more water to the mix. It makes the brownie batter fluffier more like cake batter.

Defs, it works better cause it will have more richness! It will taste llike a cake you get at a nice resturant!
