Is this typical of Burger King?

Went with a friend and asked for separate checks. They would not allow that! It had to be one check per car. Never heard of such a thing!

Most drive thrus only allow 1 order per car. The purpose of the drive thru is speed, and multiple checks per car slows down the process and isn't fair to the cars behind you. If you want separate checks, you have to go inside.

Also, my bank has a limit on the number of transactions that can be done at the drive thru. Otherwise, you have to go inside.

    Normal procedure.

Maccas does two checks per car. You would think if they were making money they would allow 4, 5, 6 checks per car. All money in the end!

Next time just ask them if they want your money or not?? Ask for the supervisor and tell then you will advise the franchisee.

    Good luck next time.

It might just be your BKs policy, my BKs policy is two orders per car, and the one down the road is one order per car. It will vary depending on who owns it.

well i used to work at McDonald's, and we could only do two orders per car. more than two orders makes it more complicated, more time consuming, and unfair to the cars behind you.

for example, if you wanted to make like 3 orders, all big and ridiculous, then a car pulls up behind you and orders an ice cream cone. they're stuck waiting behind you for like 10 minutes, for their stinkin' ice cream cone.

It's one order per car, and a policy at nearly all drive-thrus, to avoid misorders, and longer lines as you check all the bags and argue about missing food, misplaced in the other bags..

Unless you have a carload of kids, stop being lazy and go inside if you're going to be complicated in your ordering. Think of other people...for a change.

You should be able to but it save a lot of time and confusion if you get everything on 1.
