Who Wants to See Ivanovic Stomp The Williams Sisters?

LOL at you guys saying she can never beat the WS sisters. YOU guys are the ones who are deluded.

First of all, if either of the WS sisters played Ana right now, they would struggle to win a game because they're injured.

Second of all, I would like to see them get healthy and play Ana in the hot form she is in right now. I think you may be surprised.

Ana has beaten Venus before, and she can do it again. Especially considering Venus has rickety knees now. And Serena may never be the same again due to injury. So don't think it's so far-fetched.

Yes your right about her playing really well Her performance in the final of Linz against Patty Schnyder was nearly faultless and she was hitting the ball so well off the ground. And it wasn't the Ivanovic of 2009 where she just tried to hit a winner from anywhere in the court she actually constructed her points really well by hitting with a lot of margin for error and then striking for a winner when she is just ready.

I think basically Heinz started working on her fitness and serve mainly and both of those have DRAMATICALLY improved. As a matter of fact I actually think these departments are way better than when she won the 2008 French Opena and was World No. 1. She is so fast around the court now and her footwork is amazing! She is using her serve really well and is getting a lot of free points off it, including many aces!

Your right about her class, she always looks absoloutly stunning on the court and really does so well to advertise Women's tennis and she should be so proud of that. Also yes about her mental edge I think she was born a champion, as are ALL major winners no matter if they were in a slump or not so she clearly will always have the ability and the talent to beat anyone. She was lacking in confidence but ever since she beat Victoria Azarenka in Cincinnati and went on to reach the semi-finals she has been playing much better because she realises she can beat any player.

I would love to see Ana back in the top ten or top five by this time next year. I think she will get back to the top ten by around the clay court season next year and I would like to see her chalenging the top players like the Williams Sisters and Clijsters, Wozniacki because she does have the game!

Anyway, best of luck Ana but no matter what you will always be a champion!

Ivanovic has the power and game to beat her, plus she's a lot more faster than any of the two sisters. She just has to keep her mentality straight and she'll be good. If she keeps this going, I'm going to say by the early hard court season next year she can do it. She's more talented than many people realize :). Go ANA Go!

She's done nothing in her tennis career to be put in the same category as The William Sisters, Henin, Clijsters or Maria Sharapova. And all those 4 can beat her easily.

If Serena came on the court with a cast on one leg, her left arm in a sling and a patch on one eye, Ivanovic would not be able to beat her. And I LIKE Ivanovic.
