Things people have said about you?

i've overheard conversations about me over the years, and three comments from my teens and early '20s stick in my mind.

in high school: "he's a big guy, but he's such a fairy!"

just after high school, riding the bus: "that guy's sitting like he's wearing a dress!"

a couple of years later: "that girl's so tall and so skinny! i'm jealous!"

Update:

and, of course, the classic question:

"are you a man or a woman?"

hmm not really sure, most of of the things people say about me in general are bitchy back stabbing comments. I can't recall someone talking about me in a positive way, which is kind of sad when you think about it.

At school people said i was odd, weird, ugly, a lesbian etc.

At college people didn't know what gender i was and used to make comments about that saying i was a freak of nature bla, bla, bla.

At university people think i'm that odd bloke who doesn't talk much and seems anti social.

  • Assuming you mean gender related comments...

    From childhood...

Other kids - "(boy name) throws/runs/hits like a girl"

Other kids - "(boy name) is a f*g!"

    Mother (in anger) - "I don't have a son, I have 3 daughters."

Other kids - "those look like girls shoes."

    From teens...

    Other kids - "he's gay..f*g...****, etc"

Kids In high-school weight room (laughing) - "he'd a make a good female bodybuilder."

Father - "what's wrong with you, don't you like girls?"

Girl I knew in school - "you'd probably look better as a girl than a guy."

    Young adult...

Cop directing traffic at intersection - "let's go lady, move it!"

Stranger at a gas station - "nice ***" (I had long hair & my back was to him) (eewww!)

First GF - "This is the most f-up'ed relationship I've ever been in! Why don't you act like a man??"

Friends - "his parents think he's gay."

Older adult... (shortly after starting Transition)

Sister - "yeah, I always figured it was something like this (after revealing my Transsexualism.)

Stranger in restaurant - "Is that a guy or a girl?"

Friend - "everyone is asking questions, they all think you've got cancer."

Cop - "license and registration ma'am."

First GF (upon telling her I was Transsexual) - "oh, so you finally decided to fix your sh*t. It's about time." (I was totally shocked that she had it figured out way back then - PS, we are friends now.)

I overhear too much. "He's a ***," "I saw him kiss a boy," "That guy is gay," Stuff like that.

But I did hear my once-friend-now-boyfriend say "I think I liked it" to his friend the night after I kissed him for the first time. :]

people thought i was gay back when i didn't, but they were cool about it. just... "i thought you were gay because you use the word 'fabulous'!"

nothing queer-phobic sticks out. which surprises me...

I was known as "mr. horse-c*ck".

Needless to say, I was popular.
