First thing i want to tell you is to listen to me. I am a retired Marine with 28 years of service. These people who will answer this question have never served in the Corps

The Marine Corps has a hard fast rule. If your papa was a Marine then you have inherited his experience from his sperm. When they test your blood at PI it will not be red, your blood will be SCARLET, the Marine Corps colors, I envy you, I wished my daddy had served in the Corps, he served in the Philippine Army so my blood is yellow.. The first thing you want to accomplish is to set the Sgt straight on the rules of the Corp under article 69-341/2 that your father was a Marine and that alone gives you all the privileges of a combat veteran. Tell the Sgt that you want to take over as Drill instructor. Of course he will laugh, then he will send you for a blood test.Scarlet blood will show up and the Doctors and those battle hardened Corpsmen will almost kiss your feet when you tell them your Papa was a Marine.

Leaving the hospital head right for the commanding officers office, walk right past that first Sgt. Probably he will already have been informed of your status.

Do no take no for answer, demand that you be promoted to E4 or E5. a very easy rank to achieve in the Corps. Where it usually takes two months to reach that rank, you will have reached it in one day or two.

If the CO tells you he can not promote you ,then tell him in a forceful tone that you are cancelling your enlistment, here and now. He will backtrack in a hurry. He will give you a promotion to E6 or more.

He might even send you to the hospital for a complete check up before he gives you what you deserve.

"military Seal" isn't a boot camp. it quite is a undeniable education college. I went by way of Marine Corps boot camp 4 years in the past. It has a attractiveness for being the toughest using fact it quite is the longest and the main bodily stressful. The Marine Corps does not have extra durable actual standards, they only have extra. interior the Air stress, you may desire to run a mile and a 0.5, interior the Corps you may desire to run 3. I disagree with the remark approximately if AF boot camp become 5 weeks longer it would be "the toughest". Marine Corps boot camp you get no weekends off, in assessment to the AF, don't get to pass homestead for holiday journeys, like the army, and you somewhat get to consume and you have a limited decision of nutrition, in assessment to the army who gets to consume candy and drink soda throughout boot camp. the barriers the Corps places on recruits is what makes it the toughest, no longer the unquestionably education, using fact they MAKE your physique be able to do the actual section.

This really has to be a joke.

No, you cannot skip boot camp. This is a requirement, and you have to earn your place in the Corps.

The title "Marine" is Earned. NEVER GIVEN. If your "daddy" was Marine, then ask him this question, I would like to know what he says.

There's only one group of Marines who don't have to go to boot camp and can enlist as Staff Sergeants (E-6) from day one but I don't think that you qualify.

Does anyone know who those Marines are?

Absolutely NOT! No one is born a marine you have to earn the title, and you do that by making it through boot camp.
